Wintershall is Germany's largest internationally active crude oil and natural gas producer. We explore and produce oil and gas in Europe, North Africa, South America, Russia, and the Middle East. We have been active for over 85 years and have a workforce in excess of about 2,000 employees from more than 50 nationalities.

As a wholly owned subsidiary of the chemical group BASF in Ludwigshafen, we base our success on our technical know-how and strong international partnerships.
