This is the only way we can master our tasks even under especially challenging geological conditions. To this end, we employ innovative exploration, drilling, and production techniques, such as 3-D seismology, extended reach drilling, and steam flood technology. This is what distinguishes our technological expertise, particularly in our core regions. We stand for forward-looking technology: We have constructed one of the world's most modern platform control centers for the central control of our gas production platforms in the southern sector of the North Sea. A radio control system monitors the production operations of 18 offshore platforms by satellite.
