Our business includes the trading and selling of natural gas as well as the marketing of storage capacities for oil and gas.
Materials Management of Wintershall is responsible for the procurement of technical goods and services of Wintershall Holding GmbH as well as their operating companies. In order to ensure optimal procurement we would like to cooperate with competitive suppliers. Environmental, work safety and social standards are important concerns in our supplier relationships.

- Fairness characterizes the nature of our relationships with suppliers. Our decisions are based on objective criteria.

MyFUTURA is an e-sourcing platform which supports the efficient handling of purchasing transactions from the request for information (RFI) over the request for quotations (RfQ) right up to the negotiations in an e-auction.
The web-based software myFUTURA.eu from the firm FUTURA - Solutions GmbH in Wiesbaden is used by Wintershall as a neutral platform for requests for qutoes. The platform is also used with e-auctions.

Our internal procurement policy requires contracts worth 250.000 EUR or more to use the so-called “Sealed Bid Process“.
