Wintershall parts with shareholding in WV Energie AG Wintershall selling its 50% shareholding

Wintershall is selling its 50% shareholding in the Frankfurt-based company WV Energie AG by way of a management buyout in a move to restructure its group of shareholders, which includes, alongside Wintershall, around 200 utilities and companies in the energy supply sector.
WV Energie AG specializes in the management of offshore wind, energy data management and in the electronic purchasing of materials (e-procurement). The parties have agreed to maintain confidentiality on the purchase price.
