Top-level meeting in Libya

In a meeting with the Libyan Prime Minister Abdurahim el Keib in Tripoli, Wintershall CEO Seele was informed about the political developments. Wintershall is aiming to stabilise the daily production at approximately 60,000 barrels oil in 2012.

The discovery, which is estimated to contain between 60 and 120 million barrels of recoverable oil and between 2 and 5 billion standard cubic meters (sm3) of recoverable gas, is one of the significant oil discoveries in Norway in recent years and is situated around 200 kilometers off the coast of Trondheim. http://bit.ly/zaJCKd
