"Initially I applied to Wintershall because I didn't feel like taking a typical women's profession. The training for industrial mechanics was the right decision. The positive financial development in the Companywas the reason why trainees suddenly had a good chance for permanent jobs - I was offered further training to become a shift leader in production techniques.  Today I work at the Rehden production facility. I very much enjoy working with my colleagues in a relaxed atmosphere."

"As head of gas protection at Wintershall, I have to deal with different aspects of safety every day. In teaching colleagues the safe handling of respiratory protective equipment, fire extinguishers, and gas warning devices, I have set myself the task of focusing on practical aspects and making the topic as interesting as possible. Direct contact with my colleagues is very important to me in this regard. Only if I directly make it fun for them to deal with the issue of safety can they continue to take a positive approach to handling their work equipment safely at the workplace. Wintershall has allowed me to make my hobby my career and realize many of my ideas."
